Finally, I want to acknowledge and thank you for the service-after-sale.  We've had breaks in the wire from deer hooves (particularly in swampy areas) and even from an armadillo.  The repairs have been prompt and accomplished patiently.  Likewise, when we added a dog, you responded very soon after notice and worked to acclimate her to the system.

Ken and I want to thank you for the tremendous job you did in the installation and training of Pepper on our DogWatch Hidden Fence System.

Some years ago on a former property I had dogs on the Invisible Fence System for over 15 years so I was familiar with the concept of having a dog trained on this type of system. While researching fencing for our current property I became interested in Dogwatch initially because of the FM technology and the advantages it offered over the other competitor’s system. After speaking with Donna on the phone I became aware how much more individualized and comprehensive the training is with each dog that is trained with the Dogwatch system and felt it offered a big advantage over any other system I researched.

As I mentioned we had two dogs trained on The Invisible Fence system back in the mid 1980s. Immediately after installation of the system the training basically consisted of showing the dogs the flags, giving a correction and having the pet owner take it from there. While some dogs do okay with this method - it does not take into consideration each dog’s unique needs, temperament etc. We had an older female black lab that, after receiving the first correction, was very fearful to leave the house and go out into the yard. The initial correction / training was too rushed for her and she would crouch and cower on the lawn upon going out the door. Needless to say it caused us a lot of heartache to see her so scared to go out into her own yard!

Because of the time you took to get to know Pepper and therefore train and progress at a pace that worked for him - he is not only safe but HAPPY in his yard. To my knowledge no other pet containment service offers what you do and in my mind that makes it an obvious and easy choice to single out Dogwatch above the rest. I wanted to write a little note to compliment you on your professional and courteous customer service as well as the quality and performance of your product. I have had the privilege of owning several dogs over the last twenty some years and through those years I have had the opportunity to purchase various forms of fencing options to keep my dogs safe and at home. I am pleased to say that after approximately six years of using the DogWatch System (and numerous dogs) I still feel it is the best product on the market.

I have used with much difficultly one of your competitors products and was not only disappointed with its ability to contain my dogs, but their customer service did not even compare to yours. When my dogs were on your competitors system they would constantly beat the fence by draining the batteries on the average of one a week. At one point, your competitor suggested that my three German Shepards wear two collars each. This technique was not successful. Beyond the cost factor, the safety of my dogs was significantly jeopardized. We were at out wits end and planning to invest thousands of dollars to physically fence in our 4.5 acres with traditional fencing. I found DogWatch on the internet, purchased your product and have not a problem since. I currently have two Akitas and one Shepherd who are very happy and safe staying at home.

I wanted to drop you a line to tell you what happened this morning (or what didn't happen.) Bailey, Lola and Jesse are barking in unison non-stop while I'm trying to get a few more ZZZs in. I get up to open the slider to let them out and give myself some peace. As I'm watching, all three of them b-line it toward the field in the back. I'm thinking there's no way they can brake in time to not cross over because they are flying so fast. I instinctively yell out my motherly "CAREFUL!" All of a sudden I see three big deer galloping away in the other direction. Smart deer! All three dogs stop right before the line and watch the deer go off. (I need to check for skid marks later on.)

When they finally came back in later I realized (as usual) Lola's collar wasn't on (Jesse pulled it off again). Even with her collar off and with three big deer they (all three) stopped short of the boundary line. This DogWatch fence is truly working incredibly and we are very pleased with it and with our decision to go with you versus the other company. I really think that the training all came in their first two days and the rest was just reinforcement. You are a wonderful trainer! I wanted to write to thank you for their safety, for our peace of mind and wish you a peaceful and hopefully snowy Christmas!

Normally I don't send thank you letters, but it is rare you purchase something for your home that seems to be worth every penny and the company is easy to deal with.

The system works exactly as you outlined it to be before the purchase. Fletch (my 90 pound Weimaraner) had been roaming the neighborhood and wreaking havoc. Then we had the system installed. We were skeptical. Fletch is a large dog and doesn't seem to catch on quickly.

Your installer, Alex, was extremely helpful in explaining and assisting in the training of Fletch. The follow-up was great as well. We even had the line severed by the cable company and Alex came right out to repair the broken line and get the system up and working. Also, we had several follow-up questions in the weeks after the installation and Alex was there to answer. Great service.

Now our neighbors, like us again, and Fletch can be left out in the yard. He roams the yard, but does not leave the confines of the yard. We simply don't have to worry about him getting loose anymore. Having this peace of mind that he will not bother the neighbors, and he is SAFE made the purchase worth every penny.

Having two large dogs living near the water in Florida can be a dangerous thing. I often times see alligators on the lake and know that my labs wouldn't stand a chance against them. We had never personally seen any of them in use so we had to start from the beginning. When we narrowed them down we had three different companies come to our house to show us what they have to offer. DogWatch systems were far above the others in terms of both features and training. I especially liked the extra-long battery life that none of the others could come close to matching.

We were also concerned that a hidden fence would not be a possible option for our 8-month old Alaskan Malamute as many people said dogs of her breed were too difficult to train and would run through the fence. We have proven them all wrong! During the first week McKinley did test the fence just once and ran through. I was very concerned and called Lori Russell who reassured me that this does happen in the beginning as they are learning. The very next day we were back to reinforce to McKinley what she had learned that first day. It was great knowing that if we ever have any concerns or questions they would be there to help us. Of course, we have not had one incident since!

I now do not have to worry that McKinley will run away when we are playing fetch and running around outside. The additional exercise she gets now makes her a much happier dog when she is inside (a tired and happy dog!) and I know she would love to thank Lori and DogWatch as well for enriching her life with the great outdoors! Thanks for everything...I don't know how we managed without our DogWatch fence!

We own 2 coon hounds. One, the Walker, weighs approximately 90 lbs and is one year old. The other, a Black & Tan, is 7 months old. We live in the country and tried to let the dogs roam. Both are inside dogs and when nature called, we could not let them run free, for their "noses" always got them in trouble. Everything that passed through our yard, its scent was devoured by their noses and off they went. We quickly found out we could not let them run free. When nature called, we would taken them out on leashes or tie them up. My wife has emphysema and two trips outside with both dogs was very hard for her. Our solution? Call Kriger Fence. Scott Kriger returned our call immediately and came to our home. He gave us an estimate and explained how the system worked. We were so pleased with his courtesy, appearance, and professionalism that we called and scheduled an installation no more than 10 minutes after his departure. The DogWatch system was installed within a week, and Scott returned to help us train the dogs. Our coon hounds run free now that they know their boundaries.
