Warranty

DogWatch Inc., subject to the terms and conditions set forth hereunder, hereby warrants that it will repair or replace, at its own discretion, the Product or any part thereof (other than buried materials) which is found by DogWatch Inc. to be defective by reason of improper workmanship and/or materials for the Warranty period from the original date of sale for as long as the original owner owns the Product. Warranty claims may be subject to Dealer service charges and/or manufacturer shipping and handling charges. EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WARRANTY STATED ABOVE, DOGWATCH, INC. DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS AN DIMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANGABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

As condition of this Warranty, Customer must

  • Complete warranty registration online at www.dogwatch.com within 7 days after purchase.
  • Notify an authorized DogWatch dealer or DogWatch, Inc. within the warranty period after the purchase of a claimed defect, and
  • Mail product back, insurance and postage prepaid, to the authorized DogWatch dealer or DogWatch, Inc.

DOGWATCH INC.’S SOLE LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY WILL BE TO REPAIR OR REPLACE, AT ITS OPTION, ANY PRODUCT OR PART WHICH DOGWATCH INC. DETERMINES TO BE DEFECTIVE. IN NO EVENT WILL DOGWATCH INC. BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE PURCHASE OR USE OF THE PRODUCT. IN NO EVENT SHALL DOGWATCH INC.’S LIABILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.

Dealer Installed Warranty

Any transmitter installed by an authorized Dealer, equipped with a DogWatch Lightning Surge Protector and grounded to DogWatch Inc. specifications, will be warrantied for as long as the original owner owns the system. For this additional coverage to be in effect, the Customer must sign this form and complete the Warranty registration process with DogWatch Inc. within 7 days of purchase via online registration at www.dogwatch.com. For this Warranty to remain in effect, all service (repairs, reinstalls, etc.) must be provided by an authorized DogWatch Dealer.

Installation and Maintenance

Dealer shall, for a non-refundable installation fee, install the Product in accordance with DogWatch Inc. specifications. In no event shall Dealer or DogWatch Inc. be responsible for any damage to underground pipes, wires, lines, or other utilities, nor shall Dealer or DogWatch Inc. be responsible for restoring Customer’s premises to its original condition. The use of any battery other than a battery authorized by DogWatch Inc. can cause erratic operation of the receiver and could permanently damage the receiver. The use of any unauthorized battery will void the Warranty on the receiver.

Refund Policy for Installations, Service and Training

Dealer agrees, at its sole cost and expense, to refund full purchase price (less the cost of installation and buried materials) of any DogWatch Inc. Hidden Fence product (hereafter the “Product”) sold hereunder within the first 30 days from the date of the sale by Dealer if Customer is not completely satisfied for any reason. Product must be in its original condition.

Refund Policy for Online Orders

If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we will refund (less the cost of card processing fees and shipping) within 14 days of the original purchase. Products must be unused and and returned in original packaging. Proof of purchase is necessary. To arrange a return or exchange, please send us a message at info@dfwdogwatch.com.  Please include your order number, contact information and a reason for the return with your shipment. All returns are subject to approval and will have a 15% restocking fee.

Cancellation Policy

If a customer cancels an installation less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled installation date, Dealer may asses a $50 cancellation fee.

Finance Charges

The Customer is responsible for any and all fees incurred, including but no limited to fees for insufficient funds, late fees and other such bank charges. Any such amounts will be due immediately upon notice by Dealer. Customer agrees to pay any invoiced amounts. Payments are considered past due if not received within 30 days of the due date. Any past due amounts may be subject to a finance charge of 1.5% per month (18% APR).
